Article Processing Charge
All articles published in the quarterly Eksploatacja i Niezawodność – Maintenance and Reliability (ISSN 1507-2711) are available in full open access. This means that every user can freely read, download, share, and reuse the published content, provided the original work is properly cited. All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license.
To sustain this publishing model and cover the costs associated with the editorial process, authors of accepted manuscripts are requested to pay a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC). This charge covers the following expenses:
• Peer review administration and management.
• Professional copyediting, language editing, typesetting, and final preparation of articles in PDF and other formats.
• Long-term digital archiving and preservation.
• Dissemination of published papers and maintenance of the journal's platform (including journal management).
The APC is levied only after an article has been successfully peer-reviewed, accepted for publication, and after any required revisions have been made. There are no charges for rejected articles, no submission fees, and no additional surcharges based on the length of an article, the number of figures, or the inclusion of supplementary data. Selected items (such as Editorials, Corrections, Addendums, and Retractions) are published free of charge.

Fee Amount
The publication fee is as follows:
• 3000 PLN for authors from Poland (the amount includes VAT, as required by applicable regulations).
• 750 EUR for authors from abroad.
• 850 USD for authors outside the euro zone (US dollar payment option).
Payment Rules
Articles will not be published until the full payment is credited to the Publisher's account. Once an article is published, the fee is non-refundable.
Accepted Methods of Payment
We currently offer the following payment methods:
• Wire Transfer (bank transfer details provided below)
• Credit Card (via the secure online payment system available after logging into the author's account)
• Online Payment by PayPal (available through the editorial system)
• Online Payment by przelewy24.pl (available through the editorial system)
Invoices are sent by email shortly after acceptance to the payment contact person indicated by the authors. Only official invoices issued by Polskie Naukowo-Techniczne Towarzystwo Eksploatacyjne are valid. We do not authorize any third party to collect APCs on our behalf. The Publisher is the sole service provider and cannot be held liable for actions by third parties.
For wire transfers, we kindly request that the customer covers all bank fees (including those charged by the sender's, recipient's, and any intermediary banks) to ensure that we receive the full invoiced amount.
