Zmiany warunków suszenia mikrofalowo-konwekcyjnego w przypadku utrzymywania stałej temperatury nagrzania nasion dla różnych poziomów mocy mikrofal i ich wpływ na jakość biologiczną nasion

Przedstawiono rzeczywiste czasy nagrzewania nasion bobiku do założonej temperatury 40°C podczas ich suszenia w polu mikrofal, W kolejnych doświadczeniach zastosowano różne poziomy mocy mikrofal (od 72 do 168W na 180 g nasion o wilgotności początkowej 20%). Temperatura powietrza wynosiła każdorazowo 35°C a jego prędkość przepływu 0, l m/s. Wyznacznikiem przydatności metody mikrofalowo-konwekcyjnej suszenia nasion była ocena wyników kiełkowania i rozwoju siewek.

Changes in conditions of microwave-convectional drying at constant temperature of heating and at different microwave power levels and their effect on biological quality of seeds

The actual times in which broad bean seeds heat up to a temperature of 40°C during their drying in a microwave field are given. Different microwave power levels (in a range of 72-168 W for 180 g of seeds with an initial moisture content of 20%) were used in successive experiments. In each case, the air temperature was 35° and the air flow velocity - 0.1 m/s. The usefulness of the microwave-convectional method of drying seeds was determined by assessing seedling germination and development.

Jak zwiększyć opłacalność produkcji rzepaku?

Rozszerzenie zakresu stosowania biopaliw, a szczególnie biodizla jest możliwe jedynie przy znaczącym wzroście produkcji rzepaku. Analizując jednak areał uprawy rzepaku w ostatnich kilkunastu latach można przypuszczać, że zamierzenie takie będzie bardzo trudne. Wynika to przede wszystkim z bardzo małej opłacalności produkcji nasion rzepaku jako surowca niezbędnego do wytwarzania biodizla. Taka sytuacja sprawia, że wzrost produkcji rzepaku, który zrównoważy zapotrzebowanie na surowiec niezbędny dla celów paliwowych, jak i spożywczych może być możliwy jedynie poprzez maksymalne ograniczenie kosztów jego produkcji. Wzrostu szans ekonomicznych na zwiększenie produkcji rzepaku należy się doszukiwać w maksymalnym obniżeniu kosztów jego produkcji obejmujących swym zasięgiem wszystkie elementy w całym ciągu produkcyjnym od zasiewu do przerobu, które decydują o wielkości plonu.

How to make rape production more profitable?

Increased use of biofuel, biodiesel in particular, is possible only if accompanied by significant production of rape. The analysis of the rape production area within the last few years has revealed that the attempts to make any changes in that field are likely to be difficult. This fact is caused by low profitability of rape seed production necessary to produce biodiesel. Having said that, it can be assumed that increased production of rape both as fuel and food will only make economic sense if the production costs are minimized. This will make economic sense if the total production costs are reduced to the minimum.

The application of a molecular sieve for drying the insulation system of a power transformer in terms of improving its perational reliability

The first research objective was the assessment of the selectivity of water and hydrogen adsorption by the 3A molecular sieve (MS) in the terms of the safety of using the DGA (Dissolved Gas Analysis) method as a diagnostic technique. The second objective was to demonstrate the efficiency of drying the insulation system consisting of cellulose insulation impregnated with various insulating liquids in terms of improving safety and extending the service life of power transformers. In order to achieve the assumed objectives, measurement systems were prepared and material tests were carried out, based mainly on chromatographic analyzes and measurements of water content using the Karl Fischer titration method. On the basis of the obtained test results and the conducted physical analyzes, the selectivity of MS sorption was shown and it was explained that the facilitator of the adsorption of water molecules is their polar nature related to their large dipole moment. The high efficiency of drying cellulose insulation impregnated with various insulating liquids using MS was also demonstrated.
